Retention time

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for. Therefore:
  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.

Some services among those listed below, if any, may work through geographically distributed servers, making it difficult to determine the actual location where the Personal Data are stored. A pre-installed software, App Explorer, developed by SweetLabs could be accessed in most of major devices. One of the brands that supports App Explorer is Lenovo. In fact, Lenovo has App Explorer pre-installed on their devices such as computers, tablets and phones.

App Explorer is similar to Microsoft Web Store which makes a lot of application providers love it. In fact, there are some companies that use this software and put it on their commercial content on both and personal computers.

Advantages:

  • You would not need to hound web search to be able to download your preferred app.
  • All you need to do is search the app on App explorer and you are good to go.
  • Simple and easy to get your favorite apps

Disadvantages

  • Comes with numerous ads which could be very frustrating and annoying.
  • The advertisements could come with intrusive content
  • Could not be considered and called as best program to provide apps
  • Comes with annoying feature, software bundling
  • Could cause multiple issues on your computer

Though there are a lot of disadvantages, you would not need to worry as if you think that App Explorer is causing a lot of problems to your computer, there is an alternative way to get rid of it without having to involve data protection software.

Is App Explorer a Virus?

App Explorer could slow down the speed of your device and sometimes it could also cause unexpected issues. Though that is the case, App Explorer is not a virus. Though there are notifications and annoying ads, these are just part of the package.
