Retention time

Finding and defeating Stone Talus is a difficult task but do not worry as in this article, we shall help you find Stone Talus and defeat him.

Finding The Stone Talus

You would encounter Talus a lot in the games of Legend of Zelda series. In fact, the first time you would meet Stone Talus Heart would be in Crenel Hill Cave on the North of Battle Talus on Orstedd Bridge. This first encounter would be difficult but do not be discouraged but rather be prepared for it.

Now that you know where to find Talus, go and start entering the cave and just like any other caves, this cave is dark and it is highly recommended for you to use a lantern to help you light your way.

How to Defeat the Stone Talus

For you to be able to defeat Stone Talus, you must know its weak pints. This means, you would need to get onto the giant mini-boss by finding a Glowing Crystal on its back. Try to destroy the crystal with any weapon you have. We recommend for you to use a powerful weapon like Greatsword or Bow.

Strategy

Stone Talus is huge and strong monster which has the ability to deal with damage. This means you would need a strategy. Here are some tips.

  • Go to Talus’ head which would wake him up. Having a one-handed weapon would help you blow off its weak point.
  • Stand on its back and hit its crystal. Hit it at least 12 hits. Stone Talus will throw you away and be prepared for this to ensure that you will not be hurt.
  • Continue first and seconds steps until you are able to defeat Talus.

Claiming Your Prize

Once you defeat Stone Talus, you would receive a very important and valuable item. You would get precious things such as Luminous Stone and Rubies. In addition to that, you would get the Luminous Stone Heart. Keep in mind, however, that you cannot pick the Stone Heart directly. You will have to fuse it with a weapon for you to be able provide your weapon increased damage output.

For you to be able to incorporate the Stone Heart with Zonaite Spear, you would have to use the Fuse ability for you to be able to create Luminous Stone Hammer which would increase your attack power from 4 to 25.
