Retention time

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for. Therefore:

If you are a gamer, one of the most asked question is if your favorite game could be played on cross platform. For those who are new to the gaming world, cross platform means you will be able to play or run a game or software equivalently or similarly on different platforms. The Forest is a game where you could explore and build in an open world. It is a survival horror simulator where you would go into a forest. The forest’s trees and plants are all chopped down and there are also caves and lakes. This game could be played with friends and could accommodate up to 8 players.

In this game, you will have to take care of the forest and at the same time to ensure your survival. You will have to look for food and plant crops for you to be able to harvest for your food. Furthermore, you will have to build and decorate your own home. Lastly, you will also have to plant some traps to defend your space. All of these activities you will have to do during the day. However, during the night, you will have to defend your place at night. This means, you will have to create your own weapons and tools. At night, you will have the option to evade your enemies or go head to head and fight your enemies.

This game would truly give you an exciting and wonderful gaming experience. Of course, if you are playing this game or you would like to try out and play this game, one question that most gamers would ask is if the Forest is a cross platform.

Is The Forest Cross Platform?

Unfortunately, cross platform is not applicable to The Forest which means you will not be able to play with your friend who has another type of gaming platform. For example, if you are playing using a PC and your friend is using PlayStation 4, then you will not be able to play together as you will have to have the same platform in order to play with each other.

Is Forest Cross-Platform between PC and Xbox?

As mentioned earlier, unfortunately, playing cross platform on PC and Xbox is not possible in playing the Forest. However, if you wish to play this game on PS4 and PS5, luckily, you will be able to cross-play. Yes, you will be able to play in a multiplayer mode for this.

Conclusion

There are some games that could not be played using cross platform and the Forest is one of them. Fortunately, this is not applied to all platforms as it could be played between PS4 and PS5. This means that though its developers have made an announcement about the game that will not be open for cross-play platform, we could hope that it will still soon be.
