Answer: yes.

Rika will think for a while and then will congratulate you for passing the first champion assessment. The second part of the assessment would be the elite test which is a test where you would have to fight the Elite Four.

Elite Four and How to Beat Them

Now that you are able to pass the first part of the assessment, the next step is to defeat in battle the elite four. Here is a guide on how to defeat them.

Rika – The First Elite (Level 57 to 58)

Rika is the one who interviewed you in the first round of the assessment and now you would have to defeat her. Rika has a group of Ground-Type Pokemons. This means, you would need to consider this information when dealing with her. Though Ground-Type Pokemons are considered as weak, do not underestimate Rika.

Pokemons

Whiscash

The first Pokemon that Rika would use is Whiscash which is a water/ground type. This Pokemon is at level 57 and though this is the case, it is not as strong as the other ground types of Pokemon. Whiscash is weak against any Grass Type of Pokemon. Remember, do not use Electric type of Pokemon as ground type Pokemons are immune to them.

Camerupt

This ground type of Pokemon is also a fire Pokemon. It would be used by Rika after Whiscash. For you to be able to beat this Pokemon, you would need to use water type. They are also immune to electric type of Pokemon.

Donphan

Donphan is a pure ground type of Pokemon. It is at level 57 which means it could be defeated by water, grass and ice type of Pokemons.

Dugtrio

Dugtrio is a pure ground type of Pokemon. It could be defeated by water, grass and ice type Pokemons.

Clodsire

This is the final Pokemon that Rika would send. With this, you could use ice, ground and psychic type of Pokemon.

Strategy

For you to defeat Rika’s team, we highly suggest that you use grass, water and ice types of Pokemon, As you could have noticed, electric types would not work as most of Rika’s Pokemons are ground types which means, they are immune to electric types. Start with level 60+ grass type for Whiscash and then, use well-trained water types.

The last Pokemon, avoid water types. Use Psychic or grass types.

Poppy – Second Elite (Level 58-59)

Though Poppy looks cute and is a little kid, do not let your guard down. This kid is a member of the Elite Four for a reason. She normally uses Steel Type of Pokemons.

Pokemons

Copperajah

This pokemon is a pure type which is at level 58. This means, you would need to be at a level 60 and above. This pokemon is weak against Fire, Fighting and ground.

Corviknight

This Pokemon is at level 58. To defeat it, you would need to use Fire, Fighting-Type and Ground-type of Pokemon.

Bronzong

This Pokemon is a psychic/steel type of Pokemon. For it, you could use fire, ground, ghost and dark type of Pokemon.

Magnezone

The Magnezone is a dual type of Pokemon which is electric and steel. It is weak against fire and fighting type.

Tinkaton

This is the most powerful Pokemon which Poppy would send. It is a Tera-type steel. It is best to send fire and ground type of Pokemon.

Strategy

It is best to use fire type of Pokemons. They are difficult to defeat due to their heavy defense characteristics. Steel type could also work.
