Now its time for you to start playing your favorite music, listen to it and enjoy it. You could do this by using the buttons found on your phone/control screen to change songs, adjust the volume, etc.
Keep in mind, however, that not all vehicles would have an Auxiliary button on the same place. Hence, ensure to look for it. Check if there is a dedicated Auxiliary input and switch on your vehicle’s center console or dash. If you cannot find a dedicated Auxiliary input, you could play music on your device then connect the AUX cord. This would help you not get dependent and limited to Auxiliary input controls but rather you would be able to play your music using any auxiliary port.
In fact, by using an aux cord on your iPhone, you would be able to work on other ways to ensure that your aux cord and iPhone would work properly. You could even use a lightning adapter. You could use aux cord to connect your audio output in the car or office or even at home. Just get an audio cable and connect the end of it to a headphone jack on your iPhone and the other end to your stereo’s 3.5mm AUX. This way you could play music from your phone.
Another way is by using Bluetooth. Through this method, you could not use your headphone jack. To make this method work, you must ensure that you have an adapter plugged in and connect it with RCA cable which will route your music over Bluetooth. You could also, if you wish download free app such as AirPlayit or AirBuddy.
