What is RILNotifier and How to fix data connection problem

Method 1 – turn off mobile data and turn it on again

If you are using mobile data, turn it off
Turn it on again
If it does not work, try to remove your SIM card and reinsert it.

Method 2 – Restart your device

This method is very simple and straightforward. Even though that is the case, this method is the main method which could solve most and a lot of technical issues on different devices.

Press and hold the power button until you see a screen which has a restart option.
Tap the restart option
Tap again for final confirmation

Method 3 – Update the device’s preferred roaming list or more commonly known as PRL.

Go to settings
Tap software update
tap update PRL
Tap ok

Method 4 – Turn off notifications for RILNotifier

Go to settings
Tap notifications
Tap see all apps
Tap the three vertical dots which could be found on top right part
Tap Show system apps
Tap dropdown list
Select All apps
Find RILNotifier
Toggle switch to disable notifications

Can you uninstall RILNotifier?

Unfortunately, you cannot uninstall Android system apps. However, there is workaround for this and that is by using a third-party app like system app remover. This means, you will have to root your device.
