Many gamers truly love Resident Evil 4 Remake especially with its enjoyable and interesting puzzles and riddles including the locked cabinet code. Through this game, you would find a locked cabinet in the Village Chief’s Manor.
For you to unlock the cabinet, however, you would need first to find the correct code combination and in this article, we will find this one out.
When you reach the Chapter 2 of the Resident Evil 4 Remake game, you would find the Village Chief’s Manor and you would be given a task to head for the church. This would be at the very northern part of the section of the land.
Once you have reached the other end, you would find a room with tall and brown cabinet. A small puzzle will appear if you try to open the cabinet.
The puzzle comes with three symbols from left to right in no specific order. The symbols are a drawn baby, two leaves laid in opposite directions and strange drawing of an animal that looks like a pig. For you to be able to get to the treasure inside the cabinet, you would need to find the correct pattern of the symbols.
For you to be able to find the cabinet code, you would need to exit the puzzle and go back to where you have entered the manor. Do not go straight to the locked cabinet but rather take the stairs to the left to the house’s upper story. Go to the right side of the corridor and once you find a small table against the left wall and locked door, you would find a circular groove. Ignore the door and go to the small table on the left. You would find a book which is holy book on top of the table. Open it and you would find illuminados 4:3 and you would find a passage that states: In great veneration of their master, the people offered up their most prized possessions. The old farmer, his finest crop. The slight swineherd, his stoutest pig. The beggarly grandam, her own beloved babe. The master saw these gifts and was pleased.
The passage includes underlined words such as crop, swineherd, pig and babe. These words are emphasized as they are the ones that make up the cabinet code.
Once, you have the passage, exit the text screen and go back to the cabinet. Open the puzzle and arrange the symbols in the following order:
Once the correct code has been entered, the lock will open and you would be able to access the cabinet.
Once the cabinet has been opened, you would be able to collect the treasure inside it. In it, you would find a gray, spherical called the Crystal Marble. Though this might not seem much, but, it is an essential object for you to be able to continue with the game’s main story.
When you get your hands on the Crystal Marble, go to the stairs of the house again and on your right, go past the small table and go to the locked door. Examine the circular dent carved into the door’s wood. Go to your inventory. Before you place any object, ensure that you memorize the silver symbol inside the dent. Place the Crystal Marble and adjust it to the pattern inside.
Once the door opens, go inside and you would find multiple objects. Go to the desk and find the Insignia key in its drawers. You would be able to use this key to open the door with Insignia at the Lakeside Settlement.
