How to do Mac Screen Share

Before we provide you the steps on how to share screen your Mac device, you will have to keep in mind the following:

The person you are sharing screen with should be someone you really trust as you will be providing access to him or her.
Ensure that you keep your documents that are confidential password protected.

Now that we have covered that, let us now try to screen share.

Sign in your Apple ID to your Messages that is pre-installed on your device
Add your friend to your contact list.
Ensure that you have both signed into iCloud with your valid Apple ID.
Your iMessage account should be present in the accounts section of your Mac device.
Ensure that the person you would want to share a screen with has iPhone, iPad or Mac and he or she should be signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID that they use to sign in to Messages.
Open the app
Search for the contact that you would wish to share your screen.
Click on the screen sharing option
Select either invite to share my screen or ask share screen
A notification will be sent to your friend
Your friend will need to accept your request or vice-versa.
Once request has been accepted. The session will start. Ensure that both of you have the Do Not Disturb mode on. This way you will not be disturbed.

How to Take Control of Other Mac Screen During An Active Mac Screen Share Session?

During screen sharing session, you will be asked for full control of the other participants and vice versa.
The other person would need to select the screen sharing icon or click the stop sharing icon
Select allow person to control screen.
The other person will be notified and would need to accept the invitation or notification.
You could now control the other Mac Screen

How to End Mac screen sharing session?

Click on the screen sharing icon
Click stop sharing screen in the menu bar
Select End Screen Sharing or if you wish, you could also pause your screen sharing session and resume it when you are ready.
You could also select quit screen sharing to close the app.
