Collect the necessary materials

Before we mirror, it is important to know how to collect the right and essential materials. Though this is for the Survival mode of Mojang, it is also necessary for Create mode as well.

For you to be able to mirror in Minecraft, you would be needing the following:

• Frame
• White banner
• 1 unit of blue dye
• 1 unit of black dye
• 1 unit of brown dye

For you to be able to create the frame that you would be needing to join two wooden plans with two cords. These could be found by the trunks of the trees in the forests of Minecraft. The string element could be found as well through the game world and by defeating spiders and cave spiders.

The white banner could be created by joining a stick to 6 wool units. The stick on the other hand could be done by joining 2 wooden boards and wool could be done by joining 4 cords. You will also have to defeat spiders as well for you to be able to complete creating the white banner.

You will be able to get the blue dye by combining 1 unit of lapis lazuli and 1 unit of bone meal. The lapis lazuli on the other hand could be obtained by respective blocks rough which could be extracted from a pickaxe store. This could be found in the caves. If you do not have stone pickaxe, do not worry as you could create it by just combining 2 sticks with 3 units of crushed stone. For the bone meal, all you have to do is use 1 unit of bone which could be obtained by defeating skeletons in the game world.

For the black dye, you would need one unit of ink pouch and to get this you will have to defeat the squid in Minecraft. As for the brown dye, you could create it by the use of 1 unit of cocoa beans.

As you could see creating a mirror in Minecraft’s Survival mode is not as difficult as it may seem.

How to Create a Mirror on Minecraft

Keep in mind that Minecraft does not allow its player to mirror characters. Hence, this article shall focus on mirroring the aesthetic elements only.

• Place the frame on the ground (this will help you build a mirror)
• Get your white banner and 1 unit of blue dye. Combine them with the frame.
• Place the banner on the upper block on the left.
• Place the dye on the right
• Select the gradient icon towards the top.
• Place the new banner on the block on the top left
• Place 1 unit of black dye on the block which is to the right of the banner
• Select gradient icon surrounding the banner

For Vintage look

• Take the banner and place it in the dedicated block
• Put 1 unit of brown dye to the block next to the banner
• Select gradient icon which surrounds the object
• Create your ideal design through the frame and you are good to go.

Mod to Make a Mirror on Minecraft

MrCrayFish’s Furniture Mod is one of the best mods for mirroring on Minecraft. If you do not know how to install it, do not worry as we shall walk you through it.

To download the mentioned mod:

• Connect to 9minecraft website.
• Press on Download from server 1 button
• Press blue download button
• MrCrayfishs-Furniture-Mod-[version].jar will be then downloaded
• Move it to Minecraft mod folder once it has been downloaded

On Windows:

• C:Users[username]
• AppDataRoaming.minecraftmods

On MacOS:

• ~/Library/Application/minecraft/mods

For a mod to work, you will have to install the Forge profile:

• Go to the official Forge website
• Press the installer item
• If you are looking for the dated version of Minecraft
• Click on Show all Version button
• Open forge -[version]-installer.jar file
• Select the install client item
• Press ok
• Start using your mod by selecting Forge profile (use arrow icon found next to the play button)
