• Glade of Trust
• Forgotten Lands
• Sunlit Plateau
• Frosted Heights
• Forest of Valor

The above mentioned locations are just some places where you could get Hardwood. These recommended location usually have lower cost to access, they are also easier to reach. For example, the Forest of Valor, the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau. Additionally, there are some regions which are accessible early. However, you would require to complete some quests like the Merlin quest.

You would also need to obtain one tree from the plaza and then plant 10 in the biomes. This will give you higher drop rate of Hardwood.
